Inpatient Medical Director Needed
In West Central Wisconsin
450,000 - $700,000 Potential

Our new hospital is a state-of-the-art, 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. We provide customized intensive rehabilitation services to people recovering from disabling diseases or injuries, such stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, complex medical and neurological disorders.

Flexible Structure:
W-2 Employee with Benefits or without Benefits
1099 Option without Benefits
With APP or without APP options
36 Hours per Week is Full Time - Round in the Morning & Document from Home

Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary
$150,000 Medical Directorship Stipend
Bonus of Net Collections
Protected Administrative Time

Responsibilities Include
:

  • Attend Team Conferences Covering
    • Regulatory clinical team to ensure compliance and pharmaceutical aspects regarding medications, patient safety, and quality of care.
    • Medical executive committee collaboration.
  • Review of KPI’s & Discharges
  • The Physician will have a clinical focus on general physical medicine and rehabilitation
  • Assessment and management of patients with long term functional limitations; development of a plan of care in consultation with other specialists
  • The ideal candidate must be proficient managing medically complex patients and comfortable taking care of a variety of rehab-related diagnoses on the unit.
  • Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists as well as occupational therapists, with the goal of optimizing patient care
  • Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Provide tools and guidance that allow that patient to adapt and improve overall health physical functioning
  • Counsel patients as well as their families
  • Additional procedural opportunities may be available to include botulinum toxin injections, baclofen pump management and EMG’s.
