Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity – Norfolk, NE Medical Director and Attending Physician for a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Unit Join a collaborative and well-supported team as a Medical Director and Attending Physician in an integrated inpatient and outpatient PM&R practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership while delivering high-quality rehabilitative care in a community with a strong demand for specialized services. Position Highlights: • Provide oversight for a coordinated Post-Acute Care Service Line • Serve as Medical Director and Attending Physician for a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Unit • Outpatient PM&R Clinic with strong demand for: o EMGs o Botox therapy o Spasticity management o MSK pathology referrals o Hospital discharge follow-ups • Favorable payer mix in the area enhances financial viability of services About the Inpatient Rehab Unit: • 7-bed unit located on the hospital’s main campus—easy access to physician consults • Patient population includes: o Stroke and neurologic disorders o Hip fractures and limited orthopedics o Trauma, amputations, complex debility cases o Mild to moderate spinal cord injuries and brain injuries • Highly experienced and specialized staff: o 80% of RNs are Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRN) o Skilled, multidisciplinary therapy and nursing team This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow a PM&R program in a supportive setting while meeting a high community need for rehabilitative and musculoskeletal care.
