We are seeking a Board-Eligible (BE) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for an ongoing, full-time position. This is a great opportunity to join a highly experienced and supportive team in an inpatient rehab unit.
- Specialty: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Start Date: ASAP (targeting October 8, 2025, pending credentialing)
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: No Call
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Practice Details: This is primarily an inpatient role. A locum provider could also do clinic work in the afternoons, with a flexible schedule of 1-5 days per week.
- Patient Volume:
- Inpatient: Daily census of 7-8 patients.
- Outpatient (Optional): 6-7 patients per half day.
- Common Cases: Stroke, ortho trauma, brain injury, and non-traumatic spine.
- Support Staff: You will be part of a full rehab unit team, with support from physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as a social worker, rehab nurses, and neuropsychology. The hospital is connected to the clinic, so consultants are readily available.
- Unit & Outcomes: The core team is highly experienced, with a 95% patient satisfaction rate and good outcomes, including an average length of stay of 14 days.
