Job description
We’re seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our team. You’ll lead individualized rehabilitation plans, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in patient satisfaction and for our organization. In this role, you’ll partner with hospital staff and leadership to ensure effective care coordination, resource management, and discharge planning. Your expertise will help shape program growth, uphold high-quality standards, and apply Lean principles to improve patient outcomes.

Join a collaborative team of 4 other physicians in a 25-bed inpatient rehab unit.

Job Responsibilities
Perform necessary patient procedures and maintain excellence in education, infection control, quality of care, and patient/family communication.
Participate in rounds, patient flow management, outpatient follow-up, and team meetings, collaborating closely with the PM&R Medical Director and rehabilitation staff.
Qualifications
Board Certification or eligibility
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon.
Working Hours
Schedule: Days, On-call
Skills
Leading interdisciplinary teams in developing, implementing, and updating individualized rehabilitation plans, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes.
Assessing patient eligibility for Inpatient Rehab and recommend alternative care options when appropriate.
Contributing to clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
