A well-respected inpatient rehab facility in Wisconsin is seeking short-term locum coverage from a Board Certified/Eligible PM&R physician. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking to earn supplemental income with short, well-defined assignments over the holiday season. Flexible scheduling and no weekend rounding make this a low-stress, high-impact opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily rounds on patients
- Conduct H&Ps, discharges, and progress notes
- Collaborate with therapy staff, nurses, and case management
- Communicate with referring physicians as needed
- Ensure appropriate rehab plans and goals are in place
- Participate in team meetings (if applicable during coverage window)
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Recent inpatient rehab or hospitalist experience preferred
- Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with care teams
Working Hours
November 19–26 or 27, 2025
December 29, 2025 – January 5, 2026
⏰ Working Hours:
Daytime shifts (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
No weekend rounding required
Flexible hand-off and start/end times
