Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) – TBI Evaluations
Location: Little Rock, AR
Position Type: Part-Time or PRN | Local Candidates Only
Schedule: Part-Time or PRN – Onsite and Telehealth – 8a-5p
Compensation: $1100-$1200
Overview:
We are seeking a local, licensed PM&R physician to join our dedicated team performing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) disability assessments for Veterans in partnership with Optum Serve and the VA. This is a PRN, flexible opportunity offering a mix of telehealth and PRN in-person shifts. No treatment or follow-up care is required—this role is focused solely on assessment and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
• Review medical records and prior evaluations
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions (MOs) using electronic medical records system (EMR)
• Explain the exam process and findings to Veterans
• Submit completed exams within 24–48 hours
• Administer and interpret the MOCA test, as needed
Telehealth Component:
• May include telehealth appointments via secure virtual platforms
• Candidates must be comfortable troubleshooting minor tech issues
• Must present professionally in virtual settings
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of Arkansas
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Comfortable with electronic systems and virtual platforms
• Prior experience with Veteran disability exams is a plus
