System Chief, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Hartford, CT We seek a visionary System Chief of Rehabilitation to lead the next chapter of clinical excellence, innovation, and academic growth across our integrated health system. This senior physician leadership role oversees Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) services and the expansive Rehabilitation Network, which serves thousands of patients annually. The Chief will guide strategic, clinical, and academic initiatives system-wide shaping care delivery, advancing research, and mentoring the next generation of PM&R physicians. Position Details
- Clinical Leadership: Provide expert inpatient and outpatient PM&R care while modeling innovation in functional medicine.
- Strategic Direction: Partner with system leaders and the VP of Rehabilitation Operations to expand access, improve outcomes, and integrate rehabilitation throughout the continuum of care.
- Academic and Research Advancement: Lead the ACGME-accredited PM&R residency program, promote clinical research, and strengthen academic affiliations, including with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Gaylord Specialty Health Care.
- System-wide Integration: Align hospital, institute, and community-based practices to deliver seamless, high-value rehabilitation services across the organization.
