Full-Time, Permanent Position
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified PM&R Physician to serve as Associate Program Director for an ACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program. This part-time administrative role is combined with clinical responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of physiatrists while maintaining active clinical practice.
Practice/Position Highlights:
Support curriculum development and implementation in alignment with ACGME standards
Mentor and evaluate residents, contributing to their professional growth and education
Organize and lead didactic sessions, conferences, and recruitment efforts
Participate in continuous quality improvement and program assessment
Clinical practice in inpatient rehabilitation and/or outpatient brain and stroke clinics
Deliver direct patient care and bedside teaching to residents
Contribute to scholarly activity and faculty collaboration to enhance program excellence
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Minimum of three years of clinical or educational experience in an ACGME-accredited program
Demonstrated commitment to medical education and mentorship
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred: Experience in educational leadership and documented scholarly activity
