- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 2, and PEDS level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 7-8 patients per shift and 10 beds in the department. This is a full-time inpatient rehab unit coverage opportunity with no call required during the specified timeframe. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. If a locum is preferred, there is an option to include clinic work in the afternoons, ranging from 1 to 5 days per week, with a clinic volume of 6–7 patients per half day. The hospital’s daily inpatient census is typically 7–8 patients, supported by a full rehabilitation team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Discharge planning is supported by a dedicated team including a social worker, rehab nurses, and neuropsychology staff. The hospital is connected to the clinic, allowing for easy access to consultants. Common patient cases include stroke, orthopedic trauma, brain injury, and non-traumatic spine conditions. The unit is staffed by a highly experienced core team, maintains excellent patient satisfaction scores (95%), and consistently achieves good outcomes with an average length of stay of 14 days.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor a daily census of 7–8 inpatient rehab patients
* Participate in discharge planning in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
* Optionally provide clinic coverage in the afternoons (1–5 days per week)
* Collaborate with a comprehensive rehab team, including therapists, nurses, and neuropsychology staff
* Treat common rehab cases such as stroke, orthopedic trauma, brain injury, and non-traumatic spine conditions

Qualifications
* Active or eligible state medical license
* Previous experience in inpatient rehab preferred
* Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Working Hours
* No call coverage required
* Optional clinic work in the afternoons (1–5 days/week)
* Clinic volume: 6–7 patients per half day
