LOCUM Physical Medicine and Rehab Physiatrist *129750: Central, Rhode Island
Specialty: PM&R
Inpatient, Outpatient, or both: Outpatient general PM&R clinic, Inpatient 28-bed
Coverage Dates Needed: ASAP
Department Shift Schedule: M-F 8 am - 5 pm
Type of patients/cases/procedures required: General outpatient physiatry new evaluations and follow-up visits with clinical rehabilitation focus areas in neuro, musculoskeletal, P&O, Concussion/TBI, and Spasticity Management. Outpatient procedural visits include paralytics for spasticity management, trigger point injections, joint and tendon injections, as well as electrodiagnostic (EMG/NCV)
Patient Encounters per shift: 10 new patients per day (40 minute visits) with 16-18 follow-up patients per day (30 minute visits)
Available support staff: MA and office support staff
Certifications required (board certification or life support, etc.): Active unrestricted RI medical license, PM&R ABPMR board certification
Must have RI license
