JOB OVERVIEW:
• Job Title: Physician – Physiatrist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: South Burlington, VT
• Service Setting: Outpatient | Physiatry Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: 07/01/2025 – 10/31/2025 (ASAP pending credentialing)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM, 4 days per week
• On-Call Shift Schedule: One weekend per month, 24-hour call coverage
• Call Type: Beeper/Phone
• Call Ratio: One weekend per month
PATIENT INFORMATION:
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Full clinic schedule; up to 20 inpatients on call weekend
• Rounding: On inpatient rehab patients during call weekend
• Case Mix: Spasticity management, spinal cord injury, general MSK PM&R, EMG studies
FACILITY INFORMATION:
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Part of larger physiatry program
• Support Staff Available: RN and MA support in clinic
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:
• Botox for spasticity management
PREFERRED PROCEDURES:
• Electrodiagnostic studies
• Joint injections
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Licenses: Active VT license preferred
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Spasticity management and outpatient physiatry experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Board Certified in PM&R (American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide outpatient physiatry care, including spasticity management and general MSK PM&R
• Perform Botox injections and preferred procedures when qualified
• Participate in weekend inpatient call coverage (one weekend per month)
• Manage inpatient rehab patients during on-call weekends
• Complete documentation in Epic EMR
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
