Physiatrist - Brain Injury Medicine Specialist Opening in Upstate NY Full Time Position Details: Inpatient/outpatient mix with a dedicated 31-bed brain injury unit. Shared inpatient responsibilities with a fellowship-trained brain injury physician. Minimal weekend call responsibilities. Flexibility in outpatient practice. Consultant support with full-time medical coverage that takes night call. Inpatient training site for local PM&R Residency, with resident teaching opportunities. Innovative rehab technology available: REWALK, EKSO, RT300, XCITE, BURT. Strong support for complex cases: in-house neuropsychology, OT driving evaluations, social work, and experienced case management. Requirements: Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine preferred. Open to new or recent graduates. Active NYS license and DEA required. Not accepting J1 visa candidates. Recruitment Package: Non-RVU-based competitive salary with innovative bonus structure. Base compensation between $250,000 and $270,000, with potential to earn an additional $50,000 in quality incentives. Compensation excludes productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shifts, and other cash compensation. CME allowance and standard benefits provided by the medical group.
