Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Director needed in Arizona

40 bed rehab hospital

ASAP-ongoing

Schedule: Flexible hours

Call: No calls or weekends

100% outpatient practice

20-25 patients per day

Patient exam/evaluation to include medical history, relevant imaging/studies

Direct patient care (Diagnoses, Treatment plans) for a wide variety of pain types and conditions

Perform EMG’s

General PMR patient care

Referral as needed for Imaging and Consultation with other specialties

Regularly reassess Patients to determine effectiveness/progress

Patient education re; diagnosis, treatment plan options, post procedure care, and lifestyle modifications

Coordination of treatment plan with patient and other team members

Accurate and timely documentation

Staff Education Management: Assist with medical education as requested. This may include curriculum development, supervision and performance evaluations, daily rounds, lectures, demonstrations, informal discussions, and continuing education to attending Medical Staff, the nursing staff, and the therapy staff.

EMR: WellSky

Prior experience as Medical Director/leadership (Preferred)

BC/BE PM&R, Physiatry, or Pain Management, AZ license

Salary and Benefits: $250,000 - $350,000+
