**Physical Med & Rehab opening - Dubuque, Iowa**
*Candidates must be experienced and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)*
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- Employed
- Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- Experience managing medical cases and a great team player who is comfortable working with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
- Rehabilitation Unit has been providing the community comprehensive rehabilitation for over 35 years and currently is a 9 bed department including an independent living apartment. The unit has the potential for immediate growth up to 17 beds.
- Patients on the rehabilitation unit range in age from 18 years to geriatrics.
- Common diagnoses seen on the unit include stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, major multiple traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, and other conditions causing impairments in functional areas.
- Monday-Friday, which includes 36 patient contact hours per week.
