**Physical Med & Rehab opening - Dubuque, Iowa** *Candidates must be experienced and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)* **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Employed - Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit - Experience managing medical cases and a great team player who is comfortable working with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists. - Rehabilitation Unit has been providing the community comprehensive rehabilitation for over 35 years and currently is a 9 bed department including an independent living apartment. The unit has the potential for immediate growth up to 17 beds. - Patients on the rehabilitation unit range in age from 18 years to geriatrics. - Common diagnoses seen on the unit include stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, major multiple traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, and other conditions causing impairments in functional areas. - Monday-Friday, which includes 36 patient contact hours per week. **Compensation and Benefits:** - Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview) - 240 Hours ATO (Annual Time Off) - Annual CME allowance - Employer sponsored professional liability insurance and tail insurance coverage. - Health, dental, vision and life insurance - Short and long-term disability coverage - Retirement Program - Benefits start on day one of employment - Loan repayment opportunities **About the Community:** Dubuque is the intersection of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin along the beautiful bluffs of the Mississippi River as a metropolitan service area for seven surrounding counties.
