We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead a newly formed PM&R Residency program inside a large hospital in N Florida. This full-time position offers an opportunity to shape the future and careers of physicians entering the PM&R community. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with academic programs and involvement in scholarly activities, including residency training, core faculty or as program directors. While prior residency training leadership is not mandatory, involved with Graduate Medical Education programs in its many forms is needed.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead the development and implementation of the new Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation program.
- Recruit residents and oversee the design of curriculum, training and ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards.
- Provide 50% clinical and 50% administrative duties, with an initial emphasis on administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Experience in GME administration, preferably with prior involvement in residency programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering an environment of education and scholarly activity.
