PM&R Physician Opportunity in Montana Great Falls, Montana We are excited to announce an opportunity for a PM&R physician to join our exceptional rehabilitation team. Our unit, CARF-accredited for over 40 years, is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care in Montana. We offer a diverse range of practice opportunities tailored to each physician's interests, including: State-of-the-art shared rehab unit Consultations and outpatient clinic services EMG, subacute, MSK, spasticity, medical legal, and more Our team is flexible and supportive, encouraging the pursuit of passions within the field. Inpatient Rehab Highlights: 20-bed acute rehab unit collaborating closely with physiatrist colleagues. Focus on a variety of diagnoses: stroke, TBI, spinal cord injuries, neuro conditions, orthopedic cases, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac/pulmonary issues, and more. Patient load averages 5-7 per physician, with a daily census around 12. Monday through Friday, expect 2-3 discharges and admissions each day. Call burden at a manageable 1:5 ratio. Rehab Staffing: Over 100 dedicated employees, including physiatrists and a unit-based rehab APP. Supported by a dedicated IM Hospitalist for medical needs (Monday - Friday). Comprehensive nursing and therapy teams offering inpatient and outpatient services seven days a week. Outpatient PM&R Clinic: Broad referral base within our health system and statewide. Flexible clinic hours with dedicated outpatient clinical staff. Common diagnoses include TBI, stroke, spasticity, migraines, amputations, and joint issues. EMG Lab: Well-equipped with 4 machines and a volume of 24 cases per week. Opportunity for growth with experienced neuro tech support.
