Springfield Neurological Institute is a dedicated multi-specialty group of twelve board certified physicians that specializes in the treatment of brain, spinal, and peripheral nerve disorders. Position Summary:

Springfield Neurological Institute is a private physician group who is contracted with CoxHealth, one of the largest hospitals in the area. CoxHealth is a leader in health care and community involvement, with six hospitals, over 80 clinics, five ERs and nearly 12,000 employees throughout southwest Missouri. Springfield Neurological Institute at CoxHealth is located inside the Jared Neuroscience Center.

Springfield Neurological Institute is seeking a full time, board certified or board eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join us for a practice that treats patients with disorders in the muscles and nervous system, including neck/back pain, sports and work injuries. Our physiatrists treat patients only in the out-patient clinical setting (no in-patient responsibilities) which includes medical legal opportunities, fluoro and ultrasound guided procedures, electro-diagnostic testing, PRP, and spine injections. This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position, working 5 days a week. Requirements:

  • Clinical care in Neuro, Ortho, and Work Related Injury in out-patient setting. No in-patient responsibilities.
  • Perform Fluoro and Ultrasound guided procedures, Electro-Diagnostic testing, Spine and PRP injections.
  • Participate in very limited call rotation.
  • Medical legal ratings and evaluations.

Desired Professional Skills and Responsibilities:

Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified or Board-eligible and residency trained in the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
