We are seeking a motivated and dedicated PM&R physician to join our team as Medical Director. This position offers the flexibility to work as an independent contractor or as an employed physician. Candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply. We are willing to provide support and mentorship to help teach the medical director responsibilities depending on the structure and assistance available within the hospital.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the Medical Director of the PM&R department, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IMEs and NPs, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentor and supervise medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Active medical license in the state of Florida.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on the responsibilities of a medical director.
