A brand new freestanding Rehabilitation Hospital is opening in Central Ohio, and they need a Medical Director to take charge of the unit! The hospital will provide high-quality care to patients, transforming their lives through excellent rehabilitation care. This hospital operates under the umbrella of a national provider of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation that is rapidly expanding across the country serving many different communities. The candidate will will play the premier role in leading the clinical team to provide high-quality patient care. The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the medical direction and quality of care, ensuring that hospital care meets or exceeds regulatory and accreditation standards. The physician will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team including rehabilitation therapists, nursing staff, and support personnel, to develop and implement patient care plans that achieve optimal outcomes. The community is located a short drive away from the state capital, which offers a myriad of places to see and activities to explore! In this Midwest town, college football is king, and watching THE Ohio State play on Saturdays is a wonderful attraction. When the game’s not on, you will be able to explore the beautiful nature of the Rockside Winery and Vineyards, or take a day trip to marvel at the wonders if Cuyahoga National Park. The Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Columbus Museum of Art, and Ohio Glass Museum is also a short drive away for those interested in the arts and history.
Job Responsibilities
