Position Summary
MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced BC/BE Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physiatrist to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. - Provide PM&R Consults for patients with complex rehabilitation needs, or might be candidates for the inpatient rehab program
- Participate in one week of inpatient rehabilitation call coverage every sixth week at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA
- Follow 8-12 patients per day providing input on spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple trauma, neurogenic bowel/bladder, skin integrity, amputation, and other complex medical rehab cases
- Collaborate with inpatient Rehabilitation Psychology, inpatient Neuropsychology, inpatient adaptive driving program, dedicated outpatient Rehabilitation Nursing Clinic and community outreach programs for TBI, stroke, and SCI populations
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible at time of employment
- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- Two years of high risk OB practice experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $284,039.00 - $284,039.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
