Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. This opportunity offers a full-service Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation musculoskeletal/spine practice with MultiCare Rockwood Clinic group and is supported by a large primary care referral base and affiliated community providers.

The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in providing comprehensive musculoskeletal diagnosis and management of patients while delivering excellence in patient care and optimizing the patient experience. Dynamic communication across the spectrum of care and working in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment with the patient, the patient’s family, and other providers are key requirements of this position. Additional skills preferred but not required are diagnostic ultrasound and electrodiagnosis.

The Physiatry practice is highly supported by the organization and offers patients comprehensive care including advanced imaging, injection therapy under fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance, physical therapy, and more. MultiCare is a recognized leader in the use of information technology such as EPIC, our Electronic Medical Record to keep our staff better connected throughout the healthcare system.

Together these providers serve the Inland Northwest’s 1.5 million patient referral base. Academic affiliations through the University of Washington and Washington State University medical schools are available and strongly encouraged as well as research through the MultiCare IRB.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
