**Physical Med & Rehab opening - Des Moines, IA**

**Position Details**
- Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- Oversee care of patients in a 49-bed hospital based acute rehabilitation unit (IRF)
- Shared call amongst the providers mostly telephonic
- Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient, outpatient being minimal
- Support Methodist and Lutheran Hospitals
- Patients served include patients suffering from stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputees, major multiple traumas, orthopedic injuries, spine injuries, multiple sclerosis, complex neurological conditions, cancer, as well as complex medical conditions
- Outpatient clinics are in multidisciplinary rehabilitation centers and include musculoskeletal clinic including ultrasound-guided injections, very active electrodiagnostic/EMG/NCS clinic, Botox and spasticity management clinic, seating clinic, general rehabilitation, and treatment of patients with amputations
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
