Medcare Staffing is partnered with a client in Edenton, NC is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Physician to help provide coverage for their team. This is an urgent need and the provider needs a NC DEA

Coverage needed _ as soon as credentialed – during recruitment

Schedule: Monday through Friday 0830-1700; can reduce to 4 day schedule if candidates have limited availability

• Outpatient and Inpatient
• Avg # of patient/admissions per day: 20 in the office, one in the hospital
• Call: 1 night per week; 1 weekend per month
• Will respond to codes: No- unless in the nursery
• Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• No ER backup coverage required
• EMR= EPIC
• Practice Includes: 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services. 1 MD, 1 FNP and 4 Nurses/MAs.
• Required Certification: BLS, PALS and NRP
