Universal Medicine is a well-established medical practice with an extremely strong support staff seeking a full-time pediatrician to join our team. Universal Medicine is seeking a pediatrician that will continue to exemplify the fundamental qualities and culture of our medical practice. We are searching for a highly motivated physician that places patient care above all while also maintaining a strong business and growth mind set. The optimal candidate would be a pediatrician with strong and confident medical knowledge that desires to continually grow a patient base with both intrinsic and financial motivations. The colleague will be responsible for providing competent, pediatric-centered care that addresses all health needs and promotes wellness. This is a full-time position in a brand-new office within a large, diverse community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to our pediatric patients
- Ordering diagnostic tests as needed
- Documenting the care and information provided to patients within their electronic health record per clinic procedure
- Demonstrating a patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs
- Completing documents (i.e., medical reports) in a timely manner
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal patient care
- Working harmoniously with all staff to ensure patients receive optimal care
- Maintaining professional knowledge and standards through continuing medical education and professional development
- Maintaining all required certifications
- Demonstrating a knowledge of and compliance with all relevant legislation and common law obligations
- Undertake all duties in a diligent manner, with honesty and integrity
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be fluent in SPANISH

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registration as a medical practitioner with New Jersey Medical Board
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
LICENSES:
- An unrestricted state medical license (Required)
- Basic Life Support (Required)
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration (Required)
- CDS registered
