Last Update: 8/30/18
A clinic in Soldotna, AK is hiring a BC/BE Pediatrician! Join a clinic in Alaska (NHSC qualified) with healthcare professionals providing comprehensive high-quality health care. This is a full-time, permanent, and employed position. Providers work in an outpatient clinic and work four, 10-hour days a week. Average patients seen: 10-22. This clinic focuses mainly on patient care, so it doesn't set certain expectations for number of patients seen a day. Participate in the Pediatrics call group. Compensation is competitive, negotiable, and based on experience. Benefits include medical/Dental, Life, Short and Long-Term Disability, 403b, Malpractice, PTO, Vacation, Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays, CME Time and Allowance. The State of AK Sharp program and NHSC both offer loan repayment. Practicing physicians and 2018 graduates are welcome to apply. NO visa support.

Community: Soldotna, Alaska is located on the Kenai Peninsula, only 150 highway miles from Anchorage. It lies 10 miles inland from Cook Inlet and borders the Kenai River, which was voted the #1 Fishing Hotspot in North America by Field & Stream Magazine in 2004. The Soldotna Sports Center and Soldotna Public Library offer a variety of year-round events and activities that bring our community together. Residents enjoy a high-quality lifestyle in a rural setting surrounded by the beauty of the Alaskan outdoors. The city is located at the junction of the Sterling Highway and the Kenai Spur Highway, which has enabled Soldotna to develop as a service and retail hub for the Central Peninsula as well as for travelers between Anchorage and Homer. The Kenai Peninsula College, a branch of the University of Alaska Anchorage, operates the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna. Additionally, the headquarters of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, the Kenai Peninsula Borough, and the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District are located in the city.
