A pediatric clinic is seeking a pediatrician for ongoing locum tenens coverage.
The clinic is located east of Richmond, VA.
The locum will work full-time - 40 hours, 5 days a week. Call is rotated with other providers for 1:4 weekends and nights. Patients are children and adolescents with chronic illnesses, brain injuries, and neurobehavioral issues. There are NPs, IM and FP physicians, and a psychiatrist on staff.
The locum will be doing intakes and rounding, med checks, physicals, etc. There are around 3 admissions to the hospital weekly.
Candidates must have a strong background in mental health.
Credentialing for this assignment takes around 2 weeks.
