Due to successful growth, Reading Hospital, an award winning 750 bed tertiary care teaching Medical Center of Tower Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join its well-established Children's Health Center Outpatient/Nursery/Academic Pediatrics Practice.

Practice Highlights:
- You will join a group of well-trained Pediatricians who enjoy teaching residents and medical students both in the office and the nursery while caring for a primarily underserved population
- The group currently includes 5 Pediatricians and 2 CRNPs
- The office is located on the West Reading campus just one block from the Hospital
- Schedule - Monday to Friday day shift. Though a 4-day work week is an option as well. The on-call rotation will be 1 in every 5 to 6 evenings and weekends, on average, with 1st call Family Medicine senior resident coverage for answering service calls
- The hospital's Pediatric services include: around the clock in-house Neonatology coverage for deliveries and consults; a dedicated Pediatrics area in the Emergency Department; 24/7 Pediatrics Hospitalists; some ambulatory Pediatrics specialty services
- Inpatient teaching rounds in the nursery every 5th week with Allopathic and Osteopathic Family Medicine residents and medical students rotating in Pediatrics
- A supportive administration that is providing the resources to grow the service
- Be a part of consistent growth - Coming early 2019, a 16-bed self-contained pediatric emergency unit within our 120-bed ED.
MD/DO or equivalent; licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania; BC/BE in Pediatrics. Must be willing/interested in teaching
