Grossmont Pediatrics mission of providing family-focused individualized care of the child; a private pediatrics practice with a unique payer mix over 4500 Commercial HMO, PPO, Tricare and Medi-Cal patients.
A 12-member support staff includes a RN and a Referrals specialist, with whom you will see a mostly routine and a fair share of challenging pediatric cases because of the vibrant demographics of the patient mix.
Garden-variety clinical cases include ADHD, asthma, adolescent mental, behavioral health and minor elective procedures.
You will see an average of 2.5-2.7 patients per hour at the office and will take very light call and do newborn rounding on a 1 in 3 weeks rotation.
As a user on the same Epic EHR as Rady Children’s and Specialists, you will have real-time access to 90% of outside care delivered to your patients, including at UCSD, Scripps, Sharp hospitals, ensuring seamless care-consulting with reputed Pediatric specialists.
You will NOT attend any births [incl. high-risk births] NOR be required to do inpatient care. Rounding on normal newborns, will facilitate focus on quality care in the office.
Working 32 or 36 hours per week [M-F only] you can earn between $160,000 and $200,000 annually in compensation; accrue 2 weeks annually PTO - later 3 weeks, paid scheduled holidays, and a future share in practice growth.
Grossmont Pediatrics pays for professional expenses related to your employment - Renewals of your License, DEA, ABP, CME, Privileges, etc. and after 90 days, Health and Dental, 401K, etc.
