Medical Doctor Associates is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to assist at a Children’s Rehab Hospital in Springfield, MA. This would be locum tenens coverage on an “as needed” “here and there” basis. Shriners is a Rehab Hospital. Patients age range is typically 8-15 years old. The facility opened in July 2018. There would be on average 1-2 patients and various would be minimal based on admissions only. There is no NICU.

Desired Schedule: 8 hour shift and call. Reason for Coverage: Vacation Coverage. Worksite Setting: Inpatient- Very low volume.

8-5pm weekdays and rounds on Saturday, Sunday if scheduled.

The ideal candidate has a flexible work schedule as the client cannot easily forecast too far in advance the extra vacation periods so some of these would be sent on the fly a month or so in advance.
