Locums Pediatrician needed in Houston, TX
This is a locum tenens assignment but client may be recruiting perm in the future as well.
This is a chain of URGENT CARE facilities. There are four locations in the suburbs of Houston. The Provider may be required to rotate between the locations or may just be based in one location.
Clinic is open 12p-9p on weekdays and 9a-9p on weekends. Client is okay with part-time or sporadic availability.
Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and must have current PALS certification.
Duties include: physical exams; assessment of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent presentation; prescribing and administering treatment, therapy, medication and other specialized care; perform procedures including laceration repair, orthopedics and referrals to other specialists, etc.
Client would strongly prefer candidates local to the Houston area but will pay for travel and lodging for the right candidate.
