Physician (MD) - Pediatric Hospitalist
Job Details:
Locum Tenens assignment providing pediatric hospitalist coveragePatient encounters per shift range from 2-5 patients
Department consists of 16 beds
Board certification eligible minimum required; board certification not required
Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Fellowship training required
Required specialty skills include non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff), newborn and pediatric ventilation management (acute and chronic), intubation (ETT/NT) for both newborns and pediatrics, conscious sedation, central line placement, arterial lines, chest tube insertion, X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation, suturing minor lacerations, and circumcision
Preferred specialty skills include deep sedation, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle pneumothorax decompression, PA catheter, exchange transfusion, and swallow studies
Facility is a Level 1 Pediatric facility
