Pediatric Hospitalist Locum – North Dakota
License Status Required – Active North Dakota license required
Certifications Required (BLS/ATLS/PALS etc.) – BC/BE; BLS, ACLS and PALS required
Shift Times – 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overnight backup call and callback as needed. APRN/PA provides primary evening call coverage. Telephone calls are included in the nightly call rate; callback applies when physician must report to the facility for direct patient care.
Dates – ASAP/Ongoing
Coverage Schedule – Preferred availability is one 7–10-day consecutive stretch per month
Census – Approximately 11 patients/day across Pediatrics and Nursery, with typically 1–3 admissions per shift
EMR – Epic
Credentialing Timeframe – Approximately 45–120 days; temporary privileges available
Experience Required – Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Hospitalist experience; new graduates will not be considered
Clinical Requirements – Pediatric inpatient care and pediatric intubation required; Level II Nursery/NICU experience preferred
Call Details – Second/backup call with approximately 2 phone consults, 1–2 patients seen and 1–2 admissions; physical callback reported at less than 10%
Support – Strong 24/7 specialty support including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Radiology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Cath Lab and Laboratory
