Pediatric Radiologist Locum Tenens Jobs – Hershey, Pennsylvania

Join a collaborative pediatric imaging team as a locum tenens Pediatric Radiologist in Hershey, PA. This physician opportunity is ideal for a board-certified radiologist with expertise in diagnostic fluoroscopy and pediatric interventional procedures. From December 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, the physician will provide weekday coverage with scheduled night and weekend procedure call in a high-acuity Level I pediatric trauma setting.

Pediatric Radiology Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270–$7,420
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Call Schedule: Night procedure call during assigned weeks and 24-hour weekend procedure call from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• Patient Volume: Variable
• Hours: No guaranteed hours; callback hours are patient-facing
• Credentialing: Estimated timeframe of approximately 90 days

Pediatric Radiologist Job Requirements

• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with Pediatric Radiology expertise
• Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
• At least 1 year of experience practicing pediatric radiology
• Active Pennsylvania physician license
• Demonstrated proficiency with pediatric fluoroscopy, diagnostic imaging, and procedure-based imaging
• Experience with pediatric interventional procedures and complex pediatric cases
• Ability to provide weekday, night, and weekend procedure call coverage
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) licenses are not accepted for this opportunity

Pediatric Radiology Responsibilities

• Interpret and perform pediatric fluoroscopy studies, including barium swallows, upper GI examinations, VCUGs, retrograde urethrograms, and contrast or water-soluble enemas
• Evaluate postoperative and complex pediatric cases, including esophageal atresia with tracheoesophageal fistula, newborn obstruction, ostomy, and mucous fistula studies
• Perform air-reduction enemas for intussusception
• Advance feeding tubes from the stomach into the duodenum when clinically indicated
• Perform contrast injections of central lines and ports to evaluate malfunction
• Provide timely diagnostic consultation to pediatric care teams
• Participate in assigned night and weekend procedure call coverage
• Follow department procedures for timekeeping, meal breaks, overtime approval, and callback documentation
