A leading Northern California hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist with Neonatology experience or a Neonatologist comfortable managing pediatric patients for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is an inpatient, call-only opportunity supporting both pediatric and neonatal patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
- Active California Medical License
- DEA Required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Clean malpractice and professional history required for temporary privileging consideration

Clinical Overview
This role is primarily focused on neonatal care with some pediatric responsibilities:
- Approximately 80% NICU and 20% Pediatrics
- NICU patients as young as 32 weeks gestation
- Newborn resuscitations and management of premature infants
- Inpatient call coverage only
