Job description
We are seeking a Pediatrician for a locum tenens position in Florence, Oregon. This is an ongoing inpatient newborn and pediatric coverage opportunity at a critical access facility. Please see below for more information.
- 21-bed facility
- Level IV adult trauma center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed
Admit and manage newborns following delivery
Average daily census of 1 patient
Facility averages approximately 6-7 births per month
Solo coverage with tele-neonatology support available
Maintain full hospital privileges for inpatient care
Demonstrated recent clinical activity in pediatrics and family medicine, supported by case log documentation
Qualifications
Board certified in Pediatrics or Family Practice
Active Oregon medical license
NRP required
Neonatal resuscitation competency required
Epic charting experience required
Working Hours
Day, night, and weekend coverage
Unrestricted call limited to deliveries and admission of newborns following delivery
Physician must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital at all times while on call
Anticipated callback volume of 1-2 nights per week
