Join a well-established pediatric outpatient practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This ongoing locum opportunity offers a collaborative team-based care environment with full support staff, no hospital responsibilities, and minimal after-hours call. The physician will oversee a highly experienced team of Advanced Practice Providers while providing comprehensive pediatric care to patients from newborn through age 21.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Conduct wellness visits, preventive care, and immunizations
• Supervise and collaborate with 5 APPs
• Review treatment plans and support team-based care delivery
• Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR
• Participate in limited after-hours call support for clinic patients
Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active South Carolina License or license in process
• Recent EPIC experience required
• Comfortable supervising APPs
Working Hours
• 8-hour clinic days
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• No hospital call
• Minimal after-hours phone call coverage (approximately 1–2 calls per week)
