A full-time Pediatrician opportunity is available in Othello, Washington, offering a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient care. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys continuity of care across settings while delivering high-quality, patient-centered services to infants, children, and adolescents.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide primary, acute, and chronic pediatric care in clinic and hospital settings
• Perform physical exams, developmental screenings, and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
Inpatient & Call Duties
• Participate in inpatient pediatric care and rounding
• Share call coverage (weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams
Patient & Family Engagement
• Educate families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medications
• Build strong patient relationships with culturally responsive care
• Communicate effectively with caregivers and healthcare teams
Professional Responsibilities
• Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives
• Attend provider meetings and CME activities
• Support organizational and training initiatives
Qualifications
• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of accredited Pediatric Residency
• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active/eligible Washington State license
• Bilingual: English & Spanish
• Strong clinical, communication, and EMR skills
Preferred
• Experience in outpatient pediatrics or rural healthcare
Working Hours
• Mixed schedule (Clinic + Hospital)
• Shared call rotation
