- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Call Ratio: 1:1
- Patients per Shift: 0–5
- Beds in Department: 6
- EMR: Medhost
- Estimated Credentialing: 45 days
- Multiple Providers Accepted: Yes
- Coverage primarily for births
- Typical Schedule: One weekend per month with occasional holiday coverage ###Requirements
- Active AL license or IMLC accepted
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Clean history ###Clinical Details
- Newborn and pediatric inpatient call coverage
- Attendance at deliveries and newborn care
- Neonatal and pediatric ventilation management
- Intubation for newborn and pediatric patients
- Conscious and deep sedation
- Central line and arterial line placement
- UVC and UAC placement
- Lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Chest tube insertion and needle decompression
- X-ray and EKG interpretation
- Exchange transfusion when required
- Minor procedures including suturing and circumcision
