Full time
The organization is seeking a full-time Pediatrician to provide comprehensive care in a rural community setting. This role offers a mix of clinical care, leadership, and program development, with opportunities to supervise advanced practice providers and contribute to long-term clinic growth.
Position Details
• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• Practice setting includes clinic, emergency department, and hospital coverage
• On-call responsibilities shared among pediatric providers
• Onsite position in a community-focused healthcare environment
Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients across clinic and hospital settings
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions
• Participate in emergency department consults and inpatient care as needed
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver patient and family education and support care planning
Leadership & Oversight
• Supervise and support advanced practice practitioners
• Serve as a clinical resource for care planning and patient management
• Participate in medical record review and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to development of clinical protocols and patient education programs
Program & Clinic Development
• Assist with clinic operations, long-term planning, and policy development
• Support compliance with regulatory standards including Medicare, Medicaid, and accreditation requirements
• Collaborate with clinic and departmental leadership to enhance workflow and patient care delivery
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active Washington State medical license required
• DEA license required
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric practice experience preferred
• Prior experience supervising advanced practice providers or working in a rural setting preferred

This opportunity is ideal for a pediatrician seeking a meaningful role in a community-focused setting, with the ability to provide comprehensive care while also contributing to leadership, education, and program development. Estimated pay range/amount is $173k to $316k.
