JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Mississippi Medical License
- Board: Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (within five years of post-graduate training)
- DEA: Active Mississippi DEA Required
- Certifications: Current PALS and NRP Certifications
- Experience: Inpatient management of at least 24 patients within the past 24 months
- Other Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist services
- Perform daily patient rounds and admissions as assigned
- Manage acute pediatric and neonatal cases
- Provide night call coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
