Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Physician to provide high-quality primary care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. The physician will deliver comprehensive medical services using evidence-based practices with a strong focus on preventive care, patient education, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
This role involves working collaboratively within a team-based care model to ensure continuity of care, improved health outcomes, and high patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care

Provide comprehensive ambulatory pediatric primary care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Obtain patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations.

Develop accurate clinical diagnoses and prescribe evidence-based treatments.

Provide patient and family education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Maintain appropriate preventive health schedules for pediatric patients.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.
Patient Management

Build and maintain a continuity-based pediatric practice, ensuring follow-up appointments and referrals are properly managed.

Address environmental, social, and cultural factors that may impact patient health.

Maintain strong patient relationships to promote high patient satisfaction and quality care.
Productivity & Documentation

Meet productivity expectations by maintaining an average of approximately 2.6-2.7 patient visits per hour of clinical time.

Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation in medical records.

Participate in peer chart reviews and quality assurance activities.
Quality Improvement & Collaboration

Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and clinical review processes.

Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, nurses, and support staff within a team-based care model.

Maintain clinical competency through continuing medical education (CME).
On-Call & Schedule

Participate in the assigned on-call rotation as required.

Typical schedule includes four clinical days and one administrative day per week, with occasional weekend coverage.
Qualifications
Education & Training
-
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
Certification & Licensure

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

Eligible for state medical licensure and credentialing.
Language

Bilingual English/Spanish required.
