Pediatric Hospitalist opening in NC Located in New Bern, North Carolina Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join hospital. Details:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that affect the general well-being of neonates and pediatric patients.
  • Duties will include, but not be limited to: performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and screening tests, prescribing and ordering medication as appropriate for patients' medical conditions, and referring patients for further care as clinically appropriate.
  • These duties include stabilization of neonates requiring NICU level care until appropriate transfer can be made.
Location: Located along the wide, slow flowing Trent and Neuse Rivers, this is a city that truly offers the best of everything. As an historic riverfront city just 35 minutes from the Atlantic Coast, its the perfect place for sailing, swimming, boating and fishing. In fact, there are several major fishing tournaments in New Bern and on the coast. Of course if you like the outdoors, youre going to love one of New Berns largest tourism attractions the Croatan National Forest. This natural treasure covers 150,000 acres including 40 miles of streams and 4,300 acres of lakes. The forest is ideal for hiking, picnicking, camping, swimming, boating, fishing and hunting.
