Locums | Pediatrics | Call Only | Enterprise, AL (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Low-volume newborn coverage with infrequent admissions
  • Predictable weekend and holiday coverage model
  • Focused scope limited to births only
Assignment Details ASAP start with ongoing coverage Call-only coverage via beeper Typically one weekend per month with some holidays Births-only coverage with no ER or OR call responsibilities Clinical Details Inpatient pediatric coverage Average census 0–5 patients per shift 6-bed pediatric department Admissions required but occur infrequently Assigned patient rounding only EMR system Medhost Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active Alabama license or IMLC accepted ACLS, BLS, and PALS required Comfortable with comprehensive newborn and pediatric procedures Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
