- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and PEDs level 3 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 0-5 patients per shift and 6 beds in the department. This request is designed to cover for local Peds practice. The coverage is for births only. No ER, no OR call back required. Admissions are required but those occur very infrequently. The shift is typically one weekend per month and some holidays.

Job Responsibilities
* Admit patients when required, though admissions are infrequent.
* Document patient care accurately in Medhost EMR.
* Collaborate with local pediatric practice and hospital staff.
Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics.
* Active Alabama medical license or participation in IMLC.
* Ability to complete credentialing within 45 days.
Working Hours
* Coverage is ongoing, starting as soon as possible.
Skills
* Proficient in Medhost EMR documentation.
* Ability to respond promptly to beeper calls.
* Effective collaboration with hospital and local pediatric staff.
* Ability to manage occasional admissions efficiently.
