Job description • Full-Time Pediatric Hospitalist position
• Responsible for managing acutely ill, hospitalized pediatric patients
• Provide direct inpatient clinical care from admission to discharge
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuum of care
• Manage general pediatric cases, consults, and patients with comorbidities
• Focus on efficiency, quality improvement, and patient-centered outcomes

Job Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric medical management
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hospitalized pediatric patients
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
• Provide consults as requested
• Develop comprehensive care plans
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited medical school – REQUIRED
• Completion of accredited 3-year Pediatric Residency – REQUIRED
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics – REQUIRED
• Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine – Preferred
• Active Nevada Medical License – REQUIRED
• Nevada Pharmacy Board License – REQUIRED
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration – REQUIRED
• BLS – May be required
• ACLS – May be required
• NRP – May be required
• PALS – May be required

Working Hours

• Full-time employed position
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
