Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality outpatient pediatric care to children from birth to 21 years, including routine check-ups, immunizations, developmental screenings, and management of acute illnesses.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including vision, hearing, and growth monitoring, as well as blood tests for various conditions.
Offer specialized services such as autism screening, asthma management, mental health assessments, and obesity counseling.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Document clinical encounters accurately in the EMR (ECW) and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Engage with patients’ families to educate on health, safety, nutrition, and injury prevention.
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and state/federal regulations.
Communicate and engage with families while explaining complex medical information clearly.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Valid medical license to practice pediatrics in New York State
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
Experience in an outpatient pediatric settings
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting.
