Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
  • Assignment Length: 6-12 months
  • Open Dates: July (1-2 weeks) and August (1 week)
    • Specific Weeks: July 13th and August 3rd
    • Potential Inpatient Week: Last half of July
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Call: Night Call Monday-Thursday (4 nights)

Clinical Details

  • Outpatient: Perform clinic encounters for infusions, follow-ups, and consults
  • Average Patients per Clinician: 5-10
  • Required Procedures: Lumbar Puncture, administration of IT chemo, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsies
  • Call: Night call for inpatient
  • Inpatient: Round on inpatients, including consults, and respond to requests from nursing, residents, and ER for assistance with and decisions regarding patients
  • Support Staff: 5 nurses, 2 social workers, and 1 child life embedded in the clinic; infusion chairs/beds available
  • EMR: EPIC

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in pediatric hematology-oncology
  • PA license required
  • EPIC experience
  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
