Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Assignment Length: 6-12 months
- Open Dates: July (1-2 weeks) and August (1 week)
- Specific Weeks: July 13th and August 3rd
- Potential Inpatient Week: Last half of July
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Call: Night Call Monday-Thursday (4 nights)
Clinical Details
- Outpatient: Perform clinic encounters for infusions, follow-ups, and consults
- Average Patients per Clinician: 5-10
- Required Procedures: Lumbar Puncture, administration of IT chemo, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsies
- Call: Night call for inpatient
- Inpatient: Round on inpatients, including consults, and respond to requests from nursing, residents, and ER for assistance with and decisions regarding patients
- Support Staff: 5 nurses, 2 social workers, and 1 child life embedded in the clinic; infusion chairs/beds available
- EMR: EPIC
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in pediatric hematology-oncology
- PA license required
- EPIC experience
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
