Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general pediatrics, including sick visits, well visits, immunizations, and referrals to specialists, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to children from infancy through adolescence. This position also includes participation in an on-call schedule at the affiliated hospital for newborns approximately six times per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive general pediatric care, including sick visits, well visits, immunizations, and specialist referrals
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries
- Perform routine check-ups and preventive care
- Educate patients and families on health, wellness, and disease prevention
- Participate in the call schedule at the affiliated hospital for newborns (~6 times per month)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid California medical license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics (exam date required if board-eligible)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Recent hospital admitting privileges within the last 12 months for Antelope Valley Hospital credentialing
