Position Overview:
Opening located in Phoenix, AZ

FQHCs qualify for Federal and State sponsored loan repayment programs. The current facility scores within the system are 21.
Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community

The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR
Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of pediatric GI disorders
Perform pediatric endoscopic and related procedures
Engage in teaching and mentoring as part of a resident training program
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Opportunity to treat a diverse and underserved patient population
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
Strong clinical expertise in pediatric GI care and procedures
Excellent teaching and communication skills
Spanish proficiency is beneficial but not required
Open to experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates
