Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary pediatric care to patients ranging from birth to age 21.
  • Educate new parents on essential standards of care for newborns and infants to support a healthy start.
  • Perform clinical procedures, including circumcisions, cryotherapy for warts, and minor I&D of abscesses; a willingness to learn these procedures is required if not already proficient.
  • Manage behavioral health needs, including ADHD management and general mental health treatment and care.
  • Participate in a rotation of newborn and new parent education classes when required.
  • Maintain a 4-day work week schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible (if within two years of residency) in Pediatrics.
  • Active Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Strong clinical skills paired with a genuine passion for pediatric medicine.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, as this is a highly integrated and cooperative practice environment.
